PID Tuning on Marlin Firmware:
PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) is crucial for your printer's temperature control, ensuring consistent and better-quality prints by managing hotend and heated bed adjustments effectively. This should be done when heatbed, hotends or thermistors are replaced. PID Tuning is not needed for printing at different temperatures.

Using the LCD Screen on your Printer, check that your firmware is Marlin
Unload your filament: this prevents tuning for conditions specific to a single filament type or brand
Download the latest stable release of Pronterface for your OS and open it
Connect your Printer to your computer and navigate to the Gcode Sender at the bottom right of the screen
For the following steps, you will ender the corresponding Command in the Gcode Sender

Tune the Hotend [E0]:
Using the table below, find the corresponding Hotend Tuning Value for the material you will use most often during printing.

Send GCode Command to Start Tuning Hotend for PLA: M303 E0 S200 C10 - For other materials change M303 E0 [Hotend Tuning Value] C10
Get the corresponding number values returned for #define DEFAULT_Kp, DEFAULT_Ki, DEFAULT_Kd as [Kp], [Ki], [Kd]
Send GCode Command to Add PID values To your Printer: M301 P[Kp] I[Ki] D[Kd] - It will look something like M301 P27.48 I2.79 D67.60
Send GCode Command to Save the values on your Printer: M500
Send GCode Command to Verify the updated values: M503

Tune the Heat Bed [E-1]:

If your Printer Firmware is Marlin 1.X use E-1, for Marlin version 2.X use EBED
Send GCode Command to Start Tuning Heatbed for PLA: M303 E-1 S60 C10 - Make sure to set S60 to the right [Heatbed Tuning Value]
Get the corresponding number values returned for #define DEFAULT_bedKp, DEFAULT_bedKi, DEFAULT_bedKd
Send GCode Command to Add PID values To your Printer: M301 P[bedKp] I[bedKi] D[bedKd] - It may look something like M301 P27.48 I2.79 D67.60
Send GCode Command to Save the values on your Printer: M500
Send GCode Command to Verify the updated values: M503
